                   What does Safestor cost?

The cost of Safestor depends upon the amount of coverage you desire. We offer 3 coverage limits -  $5,000, $10,000 or $15,000. The premium per month for those limits are $9.95, $19.95, and $34.95.

This means that for a dollar or less a day you can have the peace of mind that your stored goods are protected. Safestor Insurance is the best protection product of its kind in the market today.

If I already have Homeowner's coverage, do I still need insurance on my stored goods?

Talk to your insurance agent to be sure, but it is a fact that some homeowner's insurance companies either do not cover household goods stored away from the home or provide only a reduced level of coverage.  If you are covered by existing insurance, great, however, talk to agent to be sure.  Our insurance is very inexpensive and we want to be sure you understand whether or not you need insurance. 

When you lease a storage unit from us, our counselors provide a brochure that outlines the complete details of coverage from Safestor.  They can answer your questions at that time, and, if you choose, you can select the coverage that meets your needs and the monthly cost will be added to your monthly billing.  You can add the coverage later if you need to consult with your insurance agent to determine the extent of your existing coverage and whether that coverage includes goods stored away from your home.
